GOT SNACKS???

We have enough snacks to last us for about one week from today! Please send 2 LARGE bags
or boxes of snacks to share.  I will need to ask again in about 2 months. And ... every 2 months after that!
We eat snack around 10:00 when the kids are reading! It reboots their brains & is a VERY important part
of our day! We LOVE the big Malt o Meal bags of cereal ... pretzels, cereals, marshmallows &
other items to create a mix ... crackers ... popcorn ... granola bars, etc.... THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!

We are reading Winn-Dixie!

We are reading Winn-Dixie to go along with our Fiction/Character Unit!

How will you "Make Your Mark?"

FINGERPRINT ART by Ms. Johnson's Third Grade Artists/Creative Writers!!

I CANNOT tell you how proud I am of your kids! This project is a middle school project. It required a
great deal of stamina, creative thought, collection of ideas, diving in & getting to know themselves!
Plus PATIENCE ... a great deal of patience! They did it! They got to know themselves better.
They were able to identify uniquenesses and strengths within themselves! They are VERY proud of their work!
I could only attempt a project of this depth with a very dedicated ... special group of kids!!! :)

They are creepily AWESOME!

Some kids wanted to bring theirs home to hang up for Halloween. Others wanted to leave
them at school to hang up here! Haley did an AWESOME job guiding us!

Because of YOU, we got THESE!!!

All of these hard cover & series books were donated to our classroom as a result of all

classrooms, the book fair money has been used to purchase playground equipment!
Thank you parents for supporting our love of reading!!

Its an ART DAY with Haley!!

Haley, our CAP student, is taking our kids out in small groups to fold and cut spider webs for Halloween!
